Feedback and Conversations about Self-Study Chapter Drafts

YOU are SMSU! Because SMSU values the input and perspective of all members of the University, several opportunities are available for providing feedback on the self-study progress:

• Each of the five criteria chapter drafts will be posted below, along with a link for providing feedback on the drafts. You may come back to the link for feedback as many times as you wish. The feedback link will remain open until approximately two weeks after the all-university conversation regarding it; see deadlines listed below.
• In addition, an all-university conversation will be held to discuss each criterion. All conversations take place in Upper CC over the noon hour on a Thursday; see specific dates below. 

The Steering Committee welcomes your feedback! For your convenience, a topic outline of all five criteria chapters can be found here (outline will be updated as chapters are edited): Criteria Chapters Topic Outline

When reading the drafts, please keep in mind the following:

• A number of links to documentation or other self-study sections are indicated but are not live in the draft versions.
• This version is presented in Word for your ease of use in copying and pasting language you want to comment on; the final version will be a PDF document with internal links and references to external e-resources for the reviewers.
• Chapter numbers are currently indicated with a “?” because the final order and number of chapters will be determined after the introductory chapters are added.
• The final version of the chapters will likely look different, with improved formatting.
• Data will be updated late in the spring.

The final full version of the self-study will eventually be posted here for all to read, after all editing is finalized.
