Outstanding Senior Nominations Due April 8

Each year at commencement, the SMSU Alumni Association proudly presents the Outstanding Senior Award. This prestigious honor celebrates a senior student who has made remarkable contributions to Southwest Minnesota State University and has distinguished themselves through:

• Academic Excellence
• Campus and Community Engagement
• Athletic or Extracurricular Achievements
• Outstanding Work Ethic and Employment

Do you know a student who shines brightly in these areas? Nominate them for the Outstanding Senior Award! Any student eligible to participate in Commencement 2025 can be nominated by students, faculty, and staff. Nominations must be submitted by April 8th. Click here to complete the nomination form.

Why nominate? Because your nomination can help recognize and celebrate the incredible efforts and achievements of our students. All nominations are confidential, and the recipient will be announced during the commencement ceremony on May 10, 2025.
