About the Program
The Humanities Program is a set of interdisciplinary courses for the Liberal Education Program (LEP) at SMSU. The Humanities Program provides students with the opportunity to explore what it means to be human through an examination of the cultural artifacts of various eras and cultures, including works of literature, religion, philosophy and the fine arts in historical context.
