University Advancement
Advancement is responsible for building on the distinctive strengths of the University, developing more widely its academic reputation and fostering philanthropic investment. This mission is accomplished through: integrated campus planning; generating new resources; promoting the richness and applicability of the curriculum; honoring the achievements and success of the students, faculty and staff; supporting enrollment and retention initiatives; public accountability for university outcomes; policy writing, compliance with Higher Learning Commission accreditation criteria, service leadership to improve academic and community quality of life; sustaining an excellent town/gown relationship; managing current department resources and foundation assets with integrity; and developing future leadership of department human resources.
