Family Weekend 2016

Join in the fun on the weekend of September 16-18, 2016 when parents, siblings, grandparents, and family members come to SMSU to have fun with their student and experience campus with them.

We look forward to meeting all the families who can visit campus and to celebrating with students who have loved ones far away! We are all a part of the #MustangFamily!

Friday, September 16

5:00-6:30pm *Dinner On Your Own

6:30pm  Cinema @ the Centers “Saving Dory” Student Center Lower Level TV Lounge (Seating for 35)

7:00 pm  Planetarium Show:  ““Planetarium Star Show & Laser Light Show” Planetarium SM 108 (Seating for 68)

8:00 pm   Take 2 Improv, Fine Arts Black Box Theatre (Seating for 75)

9:00pm  Cinema @ the Centers “Saving Dory” Student Center Lower Level TV Lounge (Seating for 35)

Saturday, September 17

8:00am – 10:00pm  *Breakfast On Your Own

10:00am – 4:00pm  *Barnes & Noble Bookstore Hours (SC East Entrance)                                               

10:00am – 11:00am  Family Weekend Check-in at Student Center East Entrance 

11:00am – 8:00pm   *The Coffeehouse @ SMSU Hours, Student Center

11:00am –   Complimentary Welcome Brunch (RSVP Required), Conference Center Upper Ballroom

                                                      Welcome by President Gores and by the SMSU Student Association

                                                      Brunch is complimentary with online RSVP by noon Sept. 14 (click here to complete form)
