Family Weekend 2017
Join in the fun on the weekend of September 15-17, 2017 when parents, siblings, grandparents, and family members come to SMSU to have fun with their student and experience campus with them.
We look forward to meeting all the families who can visit campus and to celebrating with students who have loved ones far away! We are all a part of the #MustangFamily!
Friday, September 15

8:00 pm — Take 2 Improv, Fine Arts Black Box Theatre, (limited seating for 75)

10:00am–4:00pm — *Barnes & Noble Bookstore hours, Student Center Lower Level

1:00pm — *SMSU Women’s Soccer vs. Northern State, The Schwan Regional Event Center
2:00–4:00pm — William Whipple Art Gallery - 50th Anniversary Alumni Exhibit, SMSU Library

2:00–3:00pm — Chemistry Club Magic Show, Followed by Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream, Charter Hall 201
2:00pm — *SMSU Women’s Volleyball vs. Wayne State, PE Gym
3:30–6:00pm — *Ag Bowl Festivities: Inflatable Games, Pedal Pull Contest, Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Pony Rides, Hay Rides, Food and Beverage Tent, Hay Rides, Bull Riding, and Activity Booths.
4:00pm — Kids Pedal Pull Contest (ages 4-11) Registration Begins, RA Parking Lot
4:00pm-5:00pm — SAC Ventriloquist: James Wedgewood, Fine Arts Mainstage Theatre
4:00pm–6:00pm — Res Life/RHA Event, Cotton Candy and Popcorn, RA Parking Lot
6:00pm — *SMSU Football vs. Minot State (Ag Bowl), SMSU Students free, Students and Seniors $10, Adults $15, Reserved $20, Kids age 5 and under Free (gate), The Schwan Regional Event Center
9:00pm-midnight — After Game Party: Open House: Campus Religious Center, Relaxation and Fellowship: Finger Foods, Snacks and Drinks to enjoy after the game (free) Location: Campus Religious Center. Email: CRC@SMSU.edu to RSVP by Wednesday, September 13.
