The purpose of this research was to determine the views of the community on an Amateur Sports Complex and the resulting level of support that the forthcoming tax vote supporting it will receive. It was essential to implement processes that will determine what is important to the public, permitting the development of methods for Client to channel their resources and strategies in the right direction. With the help of the Southwest Marketing Advisory Center, the referendum was passed during the 2012 elections.
Legislative Coordinating Commission (LCC) Study
The purpose of this research was to determine the impact of state regulations on the climate for new business enterprise start-ups. The question this research attempts to answer is whether the extent and magnitude of Minnesota regulations is detrimental to attracting new business enterprises compared to the surrounding states.
This report details the key findings of the study commissioned by the Marshall/Lyon County Library and completed by the Southwest Marketing Advisory Center (SMAC). The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions and attitudes of the citizens in Marshall and Lyon County concerning the new proposed library. The study included research to determine if the citizens of Marshall and Lyon County are willing to personally help fund the new library. Also, the study identified the type of individual whom would be most likely to donate.
