SMSU LGBTQ+ Center To Host Drag Show

The SMSU LGBTQ+ Center will host their first Drag Show on Saturday, January 14, 2023 in the SMSU Conference Center Lower Level Ballroom at 7:00 p.m.

“We’ve had students ask for years to have a drag show on campus. Ever since I’ve worked here, students have wanted this. We’re excited to provide a space for performance and community and acceptance for our students and for the larger community,” said Julie Walker, Director of the LGBTQ+ Center at SMSU. “I’m thrilled to partner with the Drag Troupe from SCSU. I’m proud of this student-run organization for the work they do, and I’m grateful they’re collaborating on this performance.”

The event is sponsored by the SMSU LGBTQ+ Center, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and the Drag Troupe of SCSU (St. Cloud State University).

Tickets are available at: qrco.de/smsudrag and priced $10-$50 on a pay-as-you-can basis.
