Game Day Roundup

The SMSU Athletics Department is enhancing the tailgating experience for football fans for the remainder of the season with the Game Day Roundup.

The Game Day Roundup will take place two hours prior to each home game on Mustang Trail and the R/A Facility parking lot and will include inflatables, food trucks, live music, tailgating and much more. It’s a great way for SMSU fans to enjoy a Mustang Experience!

“We are excited to build new traditions around SMSU home games and think Game Day Roundup is the perfect start,” said Jen Flowers, SMSU Director of Athletics. “Our goal is to make SMSU the place to be on Mustang football Saturdays; a place our alums can be excited to come back to; a place where fans of all ages can have a good time; a place that creates game day memories! We look forward to getting Game Day Roundup established with football and then expand it to other sports. Come join us!”

SMSU Athletics would like to encourage local businesses to be a part of the Game Day Roundup. Businesses will be offered a premier spot in the R/A Facility parking lot in the middle of all the excitement two hours prior to kickoff. Spots are complimentary. Share in the excitement and gain valuable exposure to SMSU students, alumni, parents and community members visiting campus.

“Tailgating remains an important part of our game day festivities,” Flowers said. “We have reserved premium spots in the R/A Facility lot for tailgating with several still remaining. We’d love to see our Mustang fans fill the lot for each game.”
