SMSU is the best place to work!

The readers of the Marshall Independent have voted SMSU as the Best Place to Work for 2023!

Independent readers nominated local businesses online or on a paper nomination form that was in the Independent & Country Spirit. All businesses and organizations nominated were included on the ballot and online for voting throughout the month of November.

The 2023 winners were notified on December 7 and will be announced in a special section of the newspaper on December 30, 2023.

"This is a result of our employees creating an awesome atmosphere through collaboration, innovation, inclusion, and impact," said Laura O'Rourke, chief human resources officer. "SMSU truly is the best place to work."
