"Snapshots" Concert Set for Feb. 29

SMSU/Community Concert Band

The SMSU/Community Concert Band and the Symphonic Chamber Winds will present a concert called “Snapshots” on Thursday, Feb. 29 at 7:30 pm in the SMSU Fine Arts Theatre.

The program of pieces is designed to create pictures and impressions of people, places, and things from many cultures and traditions. The “Snapshots” performance will feature the regional premiere of a new work by Haley Woodrow entitled "Life Unto the Age" as well as pieces by composers including: Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate; Aakash Mittal; ITO Yasuhide; and many others.

The concert is free and open to the public.
