International Education Week Set for Nov. 18-22

The SMSU Center for International Education (CIE) will host the annual International Education Week (IEW) from Monday, November 18 through Friday, November 22. The week includes events to celebrate the international students at SMSU and to invite the community to learn about their countries and cultures.
IEW is a joint initiative between the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education to help promote international education and programs that prepare Americans for a global world and attract future leaders from around the world to study and learn in the U.S. Join the Center for International Education as we lead SMSU with celebrating our global diversity on campus and encourage all Mustangs to study abroad.
Daily Programming Includes:
- International Treats & Trivia every day 10AM-12PM, BA/CH Link
- Listen to international music all week throughout the Student Center

Monday

Friday
- International Gala, 6:00-11:00 PM, Conference Center Upper Level
Enjoy an evening of international TedTalks, international cuisine, entertainment, a fashion show, and stay for the dance party! - Featuring talks by Tetta Askeland, Assistant Professor of Theatre, and Eric Doise, Associate Professor of English.
- Dress to impress! Cultural attire is encouraged.
- Reserve a table for your club or department. Limited tickets are available for purchase before November 15 at the CIE office. $25/ticket or reserve a table for $160 (8 seats).
