Mustangs4Life Day of Giving is May 1, 2025

On Thursday, May 1st, the 2025 M4L Day (Mustangs 4 Life Day) will bring together alumni, friends, students, parents, faculty, and staff for Southwest Minnesota State University's Fourth Annual Day of Giving. This is a 24-hour online fundraising event full of opportunities to show Mustang Pride for all areas on campus. Gifts made online will unlock bonuses during the fundraising effort.

Supporters can choose any area of SMSU that resonates with them— there are donation links for academic departments, athletic teams, scholarships, Mustang Market and other programs. The supported funds are eligible for additional bonus dollars thanks to cumulative and time-sensitive challenges throughout the day. Every gift, large or small, makes a big impact!

This year, there are over $10,000 in challenges and special incentives available. To support the event, individuals across the community can help spread the word by sharing the social media posts or by making a gift online at www.m4lday.com. Every dollar makes a lasting impact on SMSU students today and in the future! The event continues to grow, raising almost $33,000 in the first year, close to $65,000 in the second year, and, in the third year, raising over $85,000. This year’s goal is $125,000. Everyone is invited to help achieve this goal and support SMSU students and learning.

A special M4L Day Celebration will be held in the SMSU Student Center Upper Level from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on May 1st. The celebration includes a social with free appetizers and announcements on bonus winners from earlier in the day.
