Applying for Credentialing Education
Some important information to know before you apply:
- You will need to decide whether you would like to take graduate or undergraduate level courses. They are very similar and both levels meet together. However, the graduate level courses include a few extra assignments.
- If you would like to take graduate level courses, you will have to send a transcript from the University that you received your Bachelor's Degree to the School of Graduate Studies at SMSU.
- Before you apply for the credentialing courses, please verify with MnSCU that you need to take these courses.
Once you have completed and understand the information listed above, you may complete the Application Form.

CRED 410-01 Adult Learning Theory & Instructional Strategies (Undergraduate)
CRED 420-01 Assessment & Evaluation of Student Learning for Community & Tech Colleges (Undergraduate)
CRED 430-01 Designing & Managing Engaging Learning Environments for Adult Learners (Undergraduate)
OR
CRED 510-01 Adult Learning Theory & Instructional Strategies (Graduate)
CRED 520-01 Assessment & Evaluation of Student Learning for Community & Tech Colleges (Graduate)
CRED 530-01 Designing & Managing Engaging Learning Environments for Adult Learners (Graduate)
