Faculty Member Dr. Rick Herder Has Coauthored Article Published in Business and Society journal

Dr. Rick Herder, Professor of Communication Studies, coauthored an article in the journal Business and Society, with colleagues from New Mexico State University. Their article was about a Florida farmworkers coalition’s efforts to eradicate slavery in commercial agriculture, a subject Herder had written about for his Ph.D. dissertation in 2012. The University of Florida Center for Public Interest Communications reached out to the group this past week to invite them to apply for its annual $10,000 prize for Research in Public Interest Communications (the Frank Prize). Congratulations to Dr. Herder and his colleagues for this prestigious nomination!
