Loft Guidelines
It is important for you to feel “at home” in our residence halls. This is achieved in part by allowing you to personalize your room to the greatest extent possible. A major student concern is very often how to best utilize the space provided within the rooms themselves. Bunking or lofting beds is one way that the living area can be managed to gain additional space.
Traditional Residence Halls (not Sweetland, El Dorado, Kamasutra, Sirius, Titan, or FRA)
SMSU has partnered with College Products to provide safe and reliable lofting units for residents to rent. If you are going to live in a traditional residence hall (not Sweetland, El Dorado,Kamasutra, Sirius, or Titan), you will need to order a loft kit through College Products. You can also rent a safe or a Refrigerator/Freezer/Microwave unit from College Products.
Got to http://www.collegeproducts.com/smsu today to order your loft kit.
Sweetland Hall
If you live in Sweetland Hall, you can rent a loft kit from the Residence Life Office for $25 per semester. Email Residence Life with your name, Mustang ID, house and room number to rent your loft kit.

Foundation Residence Apartments
If you live in the Foundation Residence Apartments, loft kits are provided in your room. Contact your Community Adviser or the Residence Life Office to loft your bed. Do not attempt to loft your bed by yourself.
