J.R. Westrom

Assistant Director of Residence Life

 J.R. is a 2024 graduate of University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) with a Masters of Arts in Higher Education/Student Personnel.  J.R. graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from St. Cloud State University in Spring 2022. J.R. completed a graduate assistantship in the Department of Student Housing, where he oversaw Deaton Hall at the University of Mississippi.  J.R. served as an Academic Initiatives graduate in the residence halls throughout his time with Student Housing.  J.R.'s mission is to advocate for all students and empower them to live impactful lives in a diverse society.  J.R.'s hobbies outside the office require the cold and snow, including skiiing, hockey, and tubing.
