Nelnet Payment Plan

SMSU is pleased to offer a payment plan option through Nelnet Campus Commerce. This is not a loan program. You have no debt, there is no interest, and no credit check. The cost to budget your interest free monthly payment plan is a $34 per semester non-refundable enrollment fee.

Through a NELNET Payment Plan you will be able to:

• Arrange for monthly payments automatically deducted from your checking or savings account or charged to your VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express Cards
• Arrange for a down payment and monthly payments automatically deducted from your checking or savings account or charged to your VISA, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express Cards
• Pay in full
• Monthly payments will be due on the 5th of each month

TO ENROLL in a NELNET PAYMENT PLAN: Log in to E-Services with your Star ID & password.  Click on Bills & Payments, then Nelnet/FACTS Payment Plan.

PAYMENT PLANS AND REGISTRATION HOLDS:   If you have a payment plan through NELNET and the payment dates extend past the pre-registration dates for the next semester, you will be able to register if your account with NELNET is current and in good standing.
